When I was 19 I came up with the idea for the Lookout Project, which is now a 501c3 young adult led nonprofit in Michigan that has distributed over 600 overdose response kits since launching our social media advertising campaign in February of 2021. This was all in honor of my biological mom who passed of an overdose after exiting incarceration. Now, I am hoping to become an OBGYN with a specialty in addiction medicine. After a year of van life all over the country, I’ll be jumping into medical school!
