My name is Jacob Brown and I'm a former professional athlete turned businessman, entrepreneur, and inspirational speaker.

I'm currently the Executive Vice President of Element5 Digital, a branding and digital marketing agency in Metro Detroit and the Co-Founder of Varlo, a cycling and triathlon apparel brand.

I'm mostly known for my LinkedIn persona, where I have grown a following under his #FailForward motivational posts, coaching, and inspirational videos.

At age 32, I was selected as one of the Oakland County Executive's Elite 40 Under 40.

In 2020, I was keynote speaker for TEDxDetroit. In 2021, I was keynote speaker for the Purpose Summit 2021 as well as the Digital Summit Detroit and Tampa.

I am a family man – a husband of one, and a father of four.
